Day 1 so far...

So we started this thing and here's our log for day one:

Breakfast was omega 3 eggs and italian chicken sausage scrambled up. Ate it with some black berries on the side.  We did have a glass of OJ each because there was too much left over to just throw away and Erica has been sick.

After that we took our initial measurements (Pictures will be posted soon). Measurements are based on BTB Fitness' Paleo Challenge. Erica's are listed first, mine are in parentheses.  These will be re-checked at the end of the month to measure progress. We also plan to get a hydrostatic body composition test next weekend.

Upper Arms (at bicep, relaxed):
Left: 11" (13.5")
Right: 11" (14")
Waist (at belly button): 33" (34")
Waist(at narrowest point): 28" (33")
Hips: 41.5" (39")
Legs (mid-thigh, relaxed):
Left: 23" (21.5")
Right: 23" (22")
Waist-to-Hip Ratio: .67 (.85)
Weight: 152.4 lbs (170.4 lbs)
Height: 5'10" (5'9")

For dinner I cooked a curry pot roast dish found here:

It turned out pretty damn well I think. We should have enough left for a couple more days of left overs. Tomorrow I'm going to make another recipe in the crock pot, too.

We went to Southport Lanes last night for something new to do.  Erica had 2 glasses of wine and I had a norcal margarita (tequila, soda, and limes).  When we got home, we had a couple of pieces of beef jerky and I had some dark chocolate while Erica ate blueberries.

I am definitely excited to try to get through this month as strict as possible. Between this and Crossfit we should see some good results in 30 days!
